This type of therapy is actually the majority of my practice. I am sincere in my statement that I am extremely passionate about your relationship. In fact, what I want you to know (husband or wife, girlfriend or boyfriend, partner etc) is that I support your relationship entirely, so please understand that I am FOR your relationship. If you come to me I will be focusing on how to capitalize on your strengths, rather than focus on your weaknesses. I will be adamant in my attempt to create clarity in your vision of your future and assisting you in maintaining that. I do not KEEP SCORE. And I am not the judge of who is right or who is wrong. Marriage does not exist in a vacuum. Meaning that both parties will have the responsibility for change and growth. Marriage or couples counseling offers couples the opportunity to strengthen their relationship through improved communication, deeper understanding, and effective conflict resolution.
